Michelle Forslund  is a Certified ReDesign and Staging Specialist and a member of the Canadian ReDesigners Association.
Michelle’s twenty-year involvement in the hospitality industry has focused on one thing – customer satisfaction. While acting as Operations Manager in Vancouver for a 50 passenger Charter Yacht, she organized every event down to the last detail. Hosting mostly weddings, the details were quite significant and required focus and dedication to create the best possible experience for each and every guest. It’s no coincidence that many bridal parties celebrated their subsequent anniversaries aboard this same yacht.

A career change led to Executive Offices in the Hotel Industry, which furthered her dedication to providing top-notch service, but on a much grander scale. Acting as Corporate Trainer, she provided employee coaching in “100% Guest Satisfaction”.
While providing exemplary service is paramount in the Hotel industry, providing comfort and pleasing decor is also essential to round out this satisfaction. Michelle recognized the importance of creating dramatic and striking spaces that are also warm, inviting, and functional. Working with Design Consultants piqued her interest in the task of designing for a broad appeal.

A move to the Comox Valley allowed Michelle to switch gears again and tap into her creative side. Having learned of the ReDesign & Staging Industry, she quickly began her training with Val Sharp, President of the Canadian ReDesigners Association in Victoria. Having “Rearranged” many of her friend’s homes just for fun, she was thrilled to discover there was actually a name for it and you could make a living at it!
